20251017 - Waifu x Mommy Mafalda version.

I drew this #WaifuXMommy meme, using the Mafalda characters and their mothers, just for the @mafaldasopaposting group in Facebook.

Here the characters are portraited as elder than in the comics strip, so calm down if you've read the "waifu" part and instantly run to grab your burning torches, ok?

Susanita's desing was created by Ana Gabriela Billerbek, and I learned about her version via @wachoxvenganza's comic strips and fanarts. Thanks to both of them.

I made Libertad as a ginger here, to be more accurate to her mother. Also adds variety to the the haircolors.

Felipe's drawing includes both versions of his mother, the redhair one is the very first one that appeared in the "Mafalda Inédita" book, the other one is the regular design used in the rest of the comic strip. In my headcannon, both of them are a couple now, and his father lives alone.

I didn't drew Miguelito and her mom, as she never appeared in the strips, only shouting from far away. There's a character that may be his mother but it's not clear enough.

I was also going to make a joke with Mafalda's father as a femboy (one of the Sopaposting's cannons) but the female Manolito one already got that joke, IMO.

Hope you like this, specially if you're a Mafalda fan. Take note this is about a sh1tposting group, it's not cannon, it's not meant to be disrespectful about the original comics nor the characters.

Meme de la Waifu vs la Mommy, para festejar el Día de la Madre, que es este domingo. Ponele.

FAQs:

- Todos los personajes están dibujados mayorcitos de edad. No anden sacando las antorchas por usar el término "waifu", eh.

- El diseño de Susanita es de Ana Gabriela Billerbek, y la conocí por una tira de @wachoxvenganza. Gracias a ambos.

- Libertad es colorada en esta versión porque la mamá es colorada y bueno... genes y eso (y para que haya algo de variedad en los colores del pelo).

- La de rulos colorados es la mamá de Felipe que sale en Mafalda Inédita. En mi headcannon, ella y la mamá de Felipe del resto de las tiras son pareja, y el papá de Felipe vive solo. Ponele.

- No dibujé a la mamá de Miguelito porque la mente humana no puede llegar a comprander semejantes seres de terror cósmico. Ponele. Eso, o el hecho de que nunca apareció en las tiras. Aunque... la tira en que preguntan sobre la tr4t4 de bl4nc4s... hmmmm.... Ponele.

- Iba a hacer un chiste con el Pelagatos a lo femboy, pero me pareció que ya lo de Manolicia acaparó el chistonto. Es lo que hay. Ponele.
