Monopaton

I don't have the original drawing from around 1992; but I remember them very clearly.
This one is the Monopaton, which roughly translates as "One-legged". It was drawn alongside the Trepaton, with a more sad/angry face, just one leg, just two eyes and wings.
I dunno if it was really intentional, but as I see them now, they seem to have some sort of funny connection: It seems they both are part of the same evolution tree, as suggested by their names, but meanwhile one of them got more eyes and legs, this one got wings.

As I was drawing this new version, I thought that maybe these ones look sadder or angrier than the Trepatons because they might feel envious or jealous for having les legs and eyes. And the ironic comeback is that they have a pretty set of wings, but as they can't see them for themselves, they keep looking and sighing at their three eyed cousins...

I can't remember the scientific name it was given to, but a nice new one would be "Tantumcrus"
